» Anushka Shetti signs Another Period Drama Movie "Bhagmati"

Anushka will be playing the title role Bhagmati, who was the wife of fifth Sultan of the Qutb Shahi dynasty of Golkonda, Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah. Director Ashok of Pilla Jamindar fame will wield the megaphone for the movie.

With two big-budget prestigious period dramas Baahubali and Rudrama Devi in pipeline, actress Anushka has now signed yet another period film titled Bhagmati.

An official confirmation on the project is awaited.

» Karthi’s Biriyani Movie Going to Release on Dec 20 2013

Venkat Prabhu directed Biriyani is a comedy thriller starring Karthi, Hansika as the leads and Premgi Amaren, Mandy Thakar and Ramki in prominent roles. Biriyani marks the 100th musical album of Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The censor formalities of the movie are to be wrapped. Expectations are quite good on Tamil version while Karthi also had impressive hits in Telugu earlier.
